Rivermead Estate - Official Gold Coast Launch | Rivermead

Rivermead Estate: The Official Grand Opening

By: | May 23rd, 2019

To celebrate the official Grand Opening of Rivermead Estate, a selection of invited guests enjoyed an experiential showcase of the property’s expansive facilities on a dazzling May 3rd Autumn afternoon.

Here’s your first look at Rivermead’s Official Launch Party, as hosted by Tim and Karin Gordon.

A Decadent Celebration of Hospitality

Valued guests ventured beyond Rivermead Estate’s ethereal gates and down the homestead’s stretching entrance, lined by Ferraris, lush meadows and native botanicals.

Meddling fresh local fruits with exclusive Moet & Chandon Ice Imperial, visitors were welcomed with refreshments from onsite vendors.

Guests enjoyed flavoursome creations from the estate’s esteemed caterers, Ridgeway Catering including roving hors d'oeuvres while exploring Rivermead’s alfresco floral-embellished pool area.

Succulent slow-roasted meats, house-made sliders, and a freshly iced pop-up oyster bar. The Gold Coast’s newest luxury manor offered the ultimate grazing experience – a true delight of the senses.

The Inaugural Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony with Mayor Tom Tate and Assistant Minister for Tourism, Meaghan Scanlon

To officiate Rivermead Estate’s grand opening, Mayor Tom Tate and Assistant Minister for Tourism, Meaghan Scanlon lead the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The initiation was met with a symphony of applause – marking a new chapter for the Gold Coast’s corporate, retreat and Golden Circle scenes.

Entertainment from Australian Icon, Daryl Braithwaite

As a commemoration to the equestrian heritage and polo fields spanning across Rivermead’s acreage, Daryl Braithwaite joined us to perform his classic (and fitting) hit – Horses.

A Revival of the Gold Coast Polo Scene

As the Gold Coast’s original home to Polo, guests lounged track-side, relishing in a game of the equestrian art held on Rivermead’s expansive landscape, featuring the tournament-approved Polo Field.

An ode to the many games held on this very polo destination, which has since been restored by new owners Tim and Karin Gordon.

Finishing the day with a close game, attention soon turned to the homestead’s luxurious facilities.

A Luxury Tour of Rivermead Estate’s Unrivalled  Facilities

Spanning across three generous storeys of seamlessly integrated living areas, guests delighted at Rivermead House’s six abundant sleeping quarters and four opulent ensuites, including the double-master ensuite homing a freestanding bath, floor-to-ceiling glass mirror feature, and open-plan rain shower.

Tours of the poolside billiard room, private cinema space, Formal Dining Room, Day Spa, sweeping wraparound verandahs and nearby babbling brooks, tennis court and luscious woodlands were another highlight for the day.

Announcements from Rivermead Estate

Stage Two and Three of Rivermead were also proudly announced on the day of celebration.

The further expansion of Rivermead Estate will see an indoor equestrian centre, Artisan Village, 150 seat paddock-to-plate restaurant, additional accommodation pods and equine retail facilities.

Further positioning Rivermead Estate as a highly unique and multi-dimensional addition to the Scenic Rim locale.
